R. E. Drew’s lifelong love with writing fiction began as a pre-teen, when forming stories became a sure way to stave off boredom between classes and on the school bus. Those schooldays are now long over, but the stories haven’t stopped. After a full day of work and finishing class assignments for their master’s degree, they find time to work on their next science fiction novel and plan for future writing projects.
Books they have written include the first two installments of the Nightmares of a Dreamer trilogy, a science fantasy YA series. From 2014 to 2020, they also kept up a weekly-biweekly blog that is currently on hiatus.
Between work, school, and writing, they find time for other hobbies including playing the viola, composing, gardening, sewing, letter writing, learning languages, and (physical) bookmaking.
They currently live with their partner and cat in Baltimore, Maryland (“Actually, I like it.”). If you would like to contact them, feel free to do so at [email protected], though they are not obliged to reply.
